Holiday Picks: Round 1

Personally, I find the guys I know to be really hard to shop for.  Maybe it is just me over thinking it.  Maybe you get what I mean.  Here are some of my ideal gift picks.  Completely unrealistic for the guys I know, but maybe you will have more luck.

Nerd Alert!

Does anyone else think of TRON when they see these Supra sneakers?!  Is my inner nerd showing too much?  Cool, I don’t think so either.  Seriously, they make me want to jump on a bike that comes from a stick and compete on the grid!  Only if I make it out though, my hand-eye coordination isn’t very top-notch.  Too bad the girl I saw on Halloween dressed as one of the siren’s from TRON wasn’t sporting these.  Maybe next Halloween!  OK, back to browsing Reddit, watching Game of Thrones, & thinking of how I can spend my Sunday off playing video games.

Things that we are loving

Wedge Trainers!  Specifically Marc Jacobs awesome styles for this shoe.  As seen in the Marc by Marc Jacobs Spring 2012 Ready to Wear show, these are at the top of my list for things that I need in my life.  The best part of this may be that while I doubt that I will be able to afford any of these styles in the near future, Thom Brown is going to get some great wedge trainer styles from Jeffrey Campbell.  So keep your eyes peeled for that update when they make it to our shelves!

New PUMA’s Taking the Plate

It’s a baseball term… taking the plate.  It refers to the player who is next up to bat. (The pitcher would be at the mound).  About 4 brand new styles of PUMAS have arrived so let’s call this a bases loaded situation and PUMA just hit a grand slam.  Thom, that ball is out of the park, it is gone!  In addition to the long ball (which chicks dig) they also
delivered plenty of RBI’s earlier in this game called fashion.  We received a dozen classic styles in NEW colors.  A total offensive explosion from the home team, Thom.

Take advantage of this beautiful summer weather and hit up a baseball game rocking some PUMA’s.  These casual comfort sneakers are trendy and will forever look fierce when paired with shorts and a T-shirt.  This style goes for guys and girls nothing says sexy like an athletic yet stylish outfit.  Simple shorts and cotton shirts really let the shoes do the talking and be the focal point of your outfit.  The perfect accessory?  A baseball cap to support your favorite team.  With the variety of styles and colors we just received in the store I am sure we have the perfect pair to match any team!
